Park Host - Nashville Adventure Park

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Park Host is the primary customer service position and create the first impression of the Park for our guests. Their primary responsibility is to ensure that all guests are welcomed, greeted and provided with the information and assistance they need to begin their adventure. It is the primary responsibility of the Park Host to ensure that each guest has the “wow” experience right from the start!

  • Perform general opening and closing duties
  • Greet all guests and provide general Park information and direction
  • Responsible for all ticket and merchandise sales on site and proper register operation
  • Provide support to Event Coordinator in setting up and running large Park and private events, including theme nights, parties and concerts
  • Responsible for stocking and monitoring retail area as well as keeping all informational/promotional material stocked and current
  • Support guests with exchanges and the corresponding Park policies on those transactions including rain-check distribution
  • Responsible for maintaining general cleanliness, organization and professional guest service environment
  • Responsible for proactively managing customer traffic and waitlist procedures
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed including grounds keeping and harness management

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must possess a friendly disposition and professional demeanor at all times
  • Must be reliable with strong work ethic and personal integrity
  • Must be a positive person with a good attitude – smiles are a must!
  • Must have strong communication skills and have a kind, patient approach with guests
  • Must be able to adapt to new situations and be flexible
  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older
  • Able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs
  • Must be comfortable outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Climbing experience preferred but not required
  • CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain certification

 

SCHEDULE:

We have part-time and full-time positions available for the peak season mid-March through November. Candidates should have a flexible schedule with weekday, evening and weekend availability. Candidates that are available for the full season are highly preferred and will be considered first for any winter, off-season hours.

Candidates interested in summer-only positions must be available for the full summer season.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position is responsible for ensuring that all guests have an enjoyable and safe experience. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Greeting guests and providing general Park information and direction
  • Delivering instructional safety briefings and gear demonstrations
  • Observing and assisting guests as they maneuver throughout the Park and the attractions, ensuring that guests are using equipment properly and safely
  • Performing rescues and providing assistance to guests on the courses, as needed
  • Completing daily equipment inspections
  • Delivering safety briefings and ensuring safe and proper equipment use for guests during visit
  • Harnessing and assisting guests as needed on aerial courses, platforms and ladders
  • Mentoring customers on practice courses and all aerial courses
  • Assisting in Park special events, teaching classes and Park programs as needed
  • Grounds work and light maintenance, as needed
  • Assisting in guest service operations including ticket sales, retail operations retail stocking and park grounds/course maintenance, as needed
  • Performing other duties and responsibilities, as needed

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older
  • Excellent attention to detail and an extreme dedication to safety
  • Comfortable with heights up to 65 feet
  • Must have a passion for working outdoors, in all weather conditions
  • Must be reliable with a strong work ethic and personal integrity
  • Possess a friendly disposition and professional demeanor
  • Able to lift and carry 50lbs
  • CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain certification
  • Comfortable with public speaking and providing regular presentations to groups of up to 30 people multiple times per day
  • Climbing experience preferred, but not required

 

SCHEDULE:

We have part-time and full-time positions available for the peak season mid-March through November. Candidates should have a flexible schedule with weekday, evening and weekend availability.

Candidates that are available for the full season are highly preferred and will be considered first for any winter, off-season hours.

Candidates interested in summer-only positions must be available for the full summer season; weekends and holidays are required including July 4th and Labor Day.

There is a mandatory orientation session and training program for all candidates.
